The ghost in the machine: collaborating with machine error

We got a new digital scanner at Brock recently capable of handling large format, strange, and off-sized documents. In the first trial run, we used bpNichol’s ABC: The Aleph Beth Book. The results of the scanning process were, shall we say, not predicted. I attach them here as evidence of the ghost in the machine. To note: I have not processed the images at all, beyond adding the little title and logoy thing at the end.
